Ingredients

  • Assorted crackers (water crackers, multi-grain, buttery round crackers)
  • Carrot sticks
  • Celery sticks
  • Cucumber slices
  • Bell pepper strips
  • Thinly sliced salami
  • Thinly sliced pepperoni
  • Cheese cubes (sharp cheddar, pepper jack, mild gouda)
  • Roasted almonds
  • Italian marinated olives
  • Classic Hummus: chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil
  • Creamy Baked Crab Dip: cream cheese, lump crab meat, shredded cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning
  • Fresh Guacamole: ripe avocados, lime juice, diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, salt
  • Dill Pickle Dip: sour cream, cream cheese, finely chopped dill pickles, garlic powder, fresh dill
  • Spicy Salsa: diced tomatoes, jalapeño, onion, cilantro, lime, smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Prep the dips (about 20 minutes): Mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay seasoning for the crab dip. Fold in crab meat, transfer to an oven-safe dish, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  2. Prepare fresh dips: Mash avocados with lime juice, diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and salt for guacamole. Whisk sour cream and cream cheese with chopped dill pickles and garlic powder for dill pickle dip. Blend chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil for hummus. Mix diced tomatoes, jalapeño, onion, cilantro, lime, and smoked paprika for spicy salsa.
  3. Cut and arrange snacks (15 minutes): Cube cheeses, slice veggies into sticks or rounds, arrange cured meats in rolls or stacks, and place nuts and olives in small piles.
  4. Build the stadium board (10 minutes): Place dips in small bowls spaced evenly on the board. Surround each dip with crackers, veggies, meats, and cheese cubes in color-blocked sections or layered rows to mimic a stadium layout.
  5. Add final touches: Garnish dips with paprika, chopped herbs, or olive oil. Add lemon wedges or fresh herbs around the board for freshness.

Notes

Prepare dips a day ahead and refrigerate except guacamole which is best fresh. Reheat crab dip gently before serving. Use dairy-free or Greek yogurt substitutes for dips to accommodate dietary needs. Keep dips spaced and avoid overcrowding the board for easy access.
