A fun and stress-free brunch grazing board featuring toasted mini waffles, fresh colorful fruit, creamy yogurt or whipped cream, and crunchy nuts, perfect for weekend gatherings and customizable to suit any taste or diet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1520 mini waffles (frozen or homemade)
  • 1 pint strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh preferred)
  • 3 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 2 mandarin oranges, segmented
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or whipped cream
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or almonds (optional)
  • Fresh mint or basil sprigs (optional)
  • Small bowl of homemade jam or lemon curd (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast 15-20 mini waffles according to package instructions or bake homemade ones at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.
  2. While waffles warm, wash and slice fruit: hull and slice strawberries, peel and slice kiwis, halve grapes, segment mandarins, and rinse blueberries.
  3. Arrange warm mini waffles in clusters on a large serving board or platter, overlapping slightly for dimension.
  4. Scatter sliced fruit in colorful piles between waffle clusters, leaving space for small bowls.
  5. Spoon Greek yogurt or whipped cream into small bowls and place around the board.
  6. Add a bowl of maple syrup or honey for drizzling.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts over waffles and fruit for texture.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint or basil leaves and add small dollops of jam or lemon curd if using.
  9. Serve immediately while waffles are warm and fruit is fresh.

Notes

Toast waffles just before serving to keep crispness. Slice fruit close to serving time to maintain freshness and prevent browning. Reheat waffles in toaster oven for best texture. Customize with savory items like mini sausages or cheese cubes for variety. Use lemon juice on sliced fruit to prevent browning if prepping early.
