A quick and easy peach cobbler dump cake made with just four simple ingredients, delivering a sweet, warm dessert with a golden crust and juicy peaches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (29 oz / 822 g) sliced peaches, packed in juice (not syrup), drained with about 2 tablespoons juice reserved
  • 1 box (15.25 oz / 432 g) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick / 113 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Drain the canned sliced peaches, reserving about 2 tablespoons of juice.
  3. Spread the drained peaches evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the entire box of yellow cake mix over the peaches without mixing.
  5. Sprinkle the teaspoon of ground cinnamon evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter slowly and evenly over the cake mix to cover as much as possible.
  7. Bake on the middle rack for 40 to 45 minutes until edges are bubbling and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let the cake cool for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the juices to thicken.

Notes

Do not stir the cake mix and peaches; the dry cake mix bakes on top creating a crispy crust. If edges brown too quickly, cover loosely with foil halfway through baking. For dairy-free, substitute butter with coconut oil or plant-based margarine. Use gluten-free cake mix to make gluten-free. Adding chopped nuts on top before baking adds texture.
