dunkaroo dip recipe - featured image

A simple, creamy vanilla dip made with cream cheese and vanilla frosting, perfect for family fun nights and easy snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120 g) vanilla frosting
  • 24 tablespoons (30–60 ml) milk
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • Optional mix-ins: sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or a pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it at room temperature for 15–20 minutes or microwaving for 10 seconds at a time without melting.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and vanilla frosting. Beat with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix briefly to combine.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of milk and beat in. If the dip is too thick, add more milk a teaspoon at a time until it coats dippers smoothly without dripping.
  5. Fold in optional mix-ins like sprinkles or mini chocolate chips if desired.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for 20–30 minutes to thicken and meld flavors.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for best texture and flavor. Add milk gradually to avoid a runny dip. Vanilla extract is essential for depth of flavor. Optional mix-ins like sprinkles or mini chocolate chips add fun and texture. Chill for a thicker texture or serve immediately for a softer dip. Store in an airtight container in the fridge up to 4 days. Do not freeze.
