A quick and easy refreshing summer drink that balances sweet, tart, and spirited flavors with an icy texture and vibrant blue raspberry flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups (700 ml) ice cubes
  • ½ cup (120 ml) blue raspberry syrup
  • ½ cup (120 ml) vodka
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 12 tablespoons (1530 ml) simple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh raspberries or lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by measuring out ice cubes, blue raspberry syrup, vodka, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup if using.
  2. Add ice cubes to the blender jar to help the blades break down the ice smoothly.
  3. Pour in the blue raspberry syrup, vodka, and lemon juice over the ice. Add simple syrup if you want it sweeter.
  4. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds until you achieve a thick, slushy texture. Adjust consistency by adding water or vodka if too thick, or more ice if too thin.
  5. Taste and adjust by adding more lemon juice for tartness or vodka for more boozy flavor.
  6. Serve immediately in chilled glasses or Mason jars, garnished with fresh raspberries or a lemon slice. Add a straw or spoon.
  7. Enjoy responsibly.

Notes

Use fresh, solid ice cubes for best texture. Pulse blend in short bursts to avoid watery slush. Fresh lemon juice is preferred over bottled. You can substitute vodka with rum or gin for different flavor profiles. For a non-alcoholic version, omit vodka and add extra syrup and lemon juice with sparkling water. Prepare syrup, lemon juice, and vodka mixture ahead and blend with ice just before serving for convenience.
