  • 2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (240ml) warm water
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
  • 1 cup (120g) shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup (60g) shredded cheddar
  • ¼ cup (30g) grated Parmesan
  • Garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons instant yeast, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir to mix the dry ingredients.
  2. Add 1 cup (240ml) warm water and 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil to the dry mixture. Stir until the dough starts to come together.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough feels too sticky, add a tablespoon of flour at a time until manageable.
  4. Place the dough back into the bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm spot for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle about ½ inch thick. Transfer it onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Mix 1 cup (120g) shredded mozzarella, ½ cup (60g) shredded cheddar, and ¼ cup (30g) grated Parmesan in a bowl. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  8. Fold the dough over the cheese, pinching the edges to seal. Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and crispy.
  10. Let the bread cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm!
