A quick and easy 5-minute breakfast bowl combining creamy Greek yogurt, fresh raspberries, and bittersweet dark chocolate for a healthy and indulgent start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
  • ½ cup (75 g) fresh raspberries
  • 1 oz (30 g) dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), chopped or shaved
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp (5 g) chia seeds (optional)
  • 2 tbsp (20 g) toasted nuts like walnuts or almonds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure out 1 cup (240 ml) of plain Greek yogurt and place it in a serving bowl.
  2. Gently rinse about ½ cup (75 g) of fresh raspberries under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Chop or shave 1 oz (30 g) of 70% dark chocolate into small chunks or curls.
  4. If desired, drizzle 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of honey or maple syrup over the yogurt and sprinkle 1 teaspoon (5 g) of chia seeds and/or 2 tablespoons (20 g) of toasted nuts.
  5. Assemble the bowl by spooning the Greek yogurt into the bowl, topping with fresh raspberries, spreading the dark chocolate chunks on top, and adding optional ingredients.
  6. Optionally, gently swirl the bowl with a spoon for a mixed flavor or leave layered for presentation.

Notes

Use good-quality Greek yogurt like Fage or Oikos for best texture. Frozen raspberries can be used if thawed and drained. For dairy-free, substitute with coconut or almond milk yogurt and dairy-free dark chocolate. Chop chocolate just before serving to prevent melting. Pat raspberries dry to avoid watery yogurt. Toast nuts carefully to avoid burning. If yogurt is too thick, add a splash of milk or almond milk to loosen.
