  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Scoop 1 cup (240 ml) of plain Greek yogurt into a mixing bowl. Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract if desired and stir gently to combine.
  2. Peel the ripe but firm banana and slice into roughly 1/4-inch thick rounds or halve the rounds for easier bites.
  3. Using a vegetable peeler or sharp knife, shave 1 to 2 tablespoons of dark chocolate over a plate or small bowl.
  4. Spoon the yogurt into a serving bowl. Arrange the banana slices on top in a neat pattern or scatter casually.
  5. Sprinkle the dark chocolate shavings evenly over the banana slices.
  6. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if desired, and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of chia seeds for added crunch and nutrition.
