  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice 3 large bananas into ½-inch pieces. Freeze them for at least 4 hours or overnight for best texture.
  2. Place the frozen banana slices in a high-speed blender or food processor. Add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened almond milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend on high for about 2-3 minutes, pausing to scrape down the sides every 30 seconds until thick, creamy, and smooth.
  3. Taste the nice cream base. If desired, add 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup and blend briefly to combine, avoiding too much liquid to prevent runniness.
  4. Transfer the banana mixture to a mixing bowl. Gently fold in ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips and ½ cup pomegranate seeds. Fold in 1 tablespoon chia seeds if using.
  5. Spoon the nice cream into individual serving bowls. Garnish with extra pomegranate seeds and fresh mint leaves.
  6. Optionally, chill the bowls in the freezer for 15-20 minutes for a firmer texture, or serve immediately for a soft, creamy texture.

Notes

Freeze bananas in small pieces for easier blending. Pause blending to scrape sides for smooth texture. Avoid over-blending to prevent melting. Use frozen bananas only for best creamy texture. Optionally chill after assembling for firmer nice cream.
