Golden, crispy mushrooms filled with creamy, cheesy filling and topped with a crunchy breadcrumb mixture. Perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Medium-sized button mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Gently wipe each mushroom with a damp paper towel to clean them. Carefully remove the stems and set them aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Use a small spoon to scoop the filling into each mushroom cap, packing it in gently but not overfilling.
  5. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with a tablespoon of olive oil and a bit of grated Parmesan. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  6. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture generously over the filled mushrooms, pressing lightly to ensure it sticks.
  7. Arrange the mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let the mushrooms cool for about 5 minutes before serving. They’re best enjoyed warm!
