  • 12 small slider buns, preferably brioche or potato buns
  • 12 thin slices of bacon (thick-cut optional)
  • 1 cup (100g) finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons (60g) melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: pickles, coleslaw, BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) or grill to medium heat (about 375Β°F / 190Β°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, melted butter, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until a slightly wet crumbly mixture forms.
  3. Fill each slider bun with about 2 tablespoons (30g) of pulled pork. Optionally add a teaspoon of BBQ sauce.
  4. Wrap one slice of bacon tightly around each slider, tucking the ends underneath.
  5. Press the Parmesan mixture onto the bacon, covering the entire surface.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and arrange sliders spaced apart.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, rotating halfway through, until bacon is crispy and Parmesan crust is golden. If grilling, cook on indirect heat for 15-20 minutes, turning once.
  8. If needed, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness, watching closely to avoid burning.
  9. Let sliders rest for 5 minutes before serving. Top with pickles, coleslaw, or extra BBQ sauce as desired.
