Instructions

  1. Peel and slice 3 large ripe bananas into ½-inch pieces. Freeze for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  2. Add frozen banana slices to a high-speed blender or food processor. Pulse to break up, then blend continuously, scraping down sides every 20-30 seconds until smooth and creamy (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (optional), 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons almond milk. Blend until fully combined and smooth. Add extra almond milk if mixture is too thick.
