A buttery crust filled with gooey cheese, savory Italian meats, and tangy peppers, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 6 oz sliced salami
  • 6 oz sliced ham
  • 6 oz sliced provolone cheese
  • 6 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced banana peppers
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Grease your 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish to form an even layer. Pinch any seams together to seal.
  3. Layer the fillings: Start with the pepperoni, followed by salami, ham, and provolone cheese. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  4. Spread the banana peppers across the cheese layer.
  5. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning evenly over the entire filling.
  6. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the top, pinching the seams together. Tuck the edges slightly to seal everything in.
  7. Brush the melted butter over the top crust and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Let the dish cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Brush melted butter on the top crust for added flavor and golden sheen. Pre-bake the bottom crust for 5 minutes to prevent sogginess.
